Scott
Benson recently completed a second term on the Minneapolis City
Council, where he chaired the Health, Energy and Environment Committee,
and became one of the few elected officials in the country to earn
a LEED Accredited Professional distinction. Mr. Benson has
returned to the full-time practice of law in the areas of securities
and complex commercial litigation. He is a cum laude graduate
of St. Olaf College and he received his law degree cum laude from
Georgetown University Law Center. He worked as a commercial trial
attorney at Dorsey & Whitney before joining Briol & Associates
in 1998.
Mr. Benson is admitted to practice in Minnesota and the District
of Columbia.
