Lizabeth McKibben distinguished herself as a federal prosecutor during a 17-year career with the United States Department of Justice. Working during this period as Assistant U.S. Attorney in Minnesota, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., she regularly tried cases to juries, and wrote and presented appellate arguments. In Minnesota, Ms. McKibben served as the head of the forfeiture unit, undertaking both civil and criminal litigation, and she served as the Computer and Telecommunications Coordinator. Ms. McKibben’s past ten years of trial experience were in the white collar/economic crime arena.

Preceding her appointment as an AUSA, she was a Trial Attorney with the Torts Branch in Justice’s Civil Division. She received numerous awards and commendations during her years of governmental service. Ms. McKibben presently is an adjunct professor teaching Client Representation at William Mitchell College of Law, White Collar Criminal Law at the University of St. Thomas Law School, and Legal Writing and Research at Hamline University where she also taught Constitutional Law.

Ms. McKibben is admitted to practice in Minnesota, the District of Columbia, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
