Bill Carpenter has represented individual and corporate clients in a variety of litigated matters arising in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, the purchase and sale of securities, commercial transactions, corporate control, stock options, Internet real estate brokerage, insurance coverage, commercial construction, distributorships, intellectual property, and antitrust.

Mr. Carpenter began practicing law with the firm of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen in San Francisco after receiving his J.D. from the University of California (Boalt Hall) School of Law. He moved to Minnesota and practiced with Doherty, Rumble & Butler until 1999. Since then he has practiced at Briol & Associates.

Mr. Carpenter is admitted to practice in Minnesota, California, and in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
