(612) 756.7777 | Amy Ihlan is a graduate of Macalester College and Harvard Law School, and has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Minnesota. She is an assistant professor in the School of Business and Leadership at St. Catherine University, teaching ethics in the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program. Amy served as a City Council Member in Roseville, a suburb of the Twin Cities. Ms. Ihlan began her legal career at Dorsey & Whitney before joining Briol & Associates in June 1998. Her law practice has focused on securities arbitration, minority shareholder and commercial litigation, and advising securities brokers and investment advisers on compliance and regulatory issues. Ms. Ihlan is a qualified neutral mediator and arbitrator, and is very interested in alternative dispute resolution in addition to law and philosophy. Ms. Ihlan is admitted to practice in Minnesota.
